Vertical oil painting with strong vertical bands of grey, blue, and dark grey. The darkest grey band in the center alludes to some kind of shadowed space, where there is an edge of a window or doorway in the lower right. This dark area is flanked on either side by pillars of blue, followed on either side to fill to the end of the canvas grey bands. Overlaying from the upper left toward the lower right is a sweep of white that veils the underlying colors creating a visual diagonal across the composition.
